AICPL produces and distributes the high-quality WANDA brand of fish feed for the aquaculture markets of Ghana and the neighboring West African countries. Currently, our focus is on quality tilapia grower feed produced in close collaboration with experts in aquaculture at the Water Research Institute (WRI) of the Council for Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) of Ghana.
AICPL’S iso-nitrogenous (30% crude protein), iso-lipidic (6% lipid) and iso-caloric (17 kJ g-1) feeds have been satisfactorily analyzed by the Ghana Standards Authority and duly certified by the Food & Drugs Authority of the Republic of Ghana.
Studies have shown that the demand for fish feed will be on the ascendancy as fish production through aquaculture increases. Currently, the Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus is the most farmed fish species in Ghana and it contributes significantly to the total fish production of the country. The major challenge facing the economic production of this fish is the unavailability of good quality and affordable commercial tilapia grower feed. Quality and affordable tilapia feed particularly that of grower is important for sustainability of high fish production in the country. The timely introduction of WANDA fish feed to the market by AICPL will therefore go a long way to fill the gap created by the growing demand for quality and affordable fish feed in Ghana as well as the neighboring West African countries of Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Cote D’Ivoire, Benin and Togo.
Packed in 25 kg bags, the Boafo Organic Biochar Fertilizer has a positive impact on crops including maize
